Through authentic learning experiences, you'll expand your knowledge, skills, and practical expertise in your chosen profession or discipline. It aims to cultivate engaged, globally-aware individuals who can make meaningful contributions to communities and industries.

This course provides the opportunity to develop knowledge in a range of traditional business and non-traditional business disciplines and the critical thinking, problem-solving, information literacy, technological, cross-cultural, ethical and innovative abilities being sought by employers.

You will be able to gain work experience while you learn with a mix of industry placements, internships and projects; real-world and authentic learning experiences you’ll need to excel in the future world of work.

Plus, benefit from our flexible course design which allows you to tailor your studies to your interests with options to major in core business disciplines, or choose from a variety of minors. With a GPA of 5.5 or more, you will have the unique option to complete the Master of Business Management minor. This articulates into the Master of Business Management. This flexibility of choice means you develop a breadth of knowledge to enable you to meet and adapt to the changing nature of careers and work.

Major: Hospitality Management
The Hospitality Management major consists of eight units that prepare you for a career in the hospitality sector.

If you study the Hospitality Management major and Marketing minor, there are two common units, MRKT19031 Consumer Behaviour and MRKT19030 Marketing Communication. Rather than studying these two units again, you will study MRKT19040 Strategic Marketing and Planning and MGMT13151 Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Start-ups instead.
