Foundation Program

Designed specifically for international students, the UWA Foundation program will help students improve their subject knowledge and English language skills. Students can progress to Year 1 of any undergraduate degree at The University of Western Australia (UWA) upon successful completion to the required level.

You'll graduate with two degrees in just four years, a Bachelor of Environmental Science where you will take a defined study plan and a Bachelor of Science where you'll choose a major from a wide range of options.

Bachelor of Environmental Science

The Bachelor of Environmental Science teaches understanding, rational analysis, and improvement of human impacts on the natural world. These outcomes are achieved through critical review of current knowledge, systematic observation, experimentation, modelling, and rigorous data analysis. Graduates in Environmental Science have strong theoretical knowledge, combined with practical and creative skills, equipping them with wide-ranging expertise, allowing them to solve diverse and emerging environmental problems and to communicate unbiased information to the wider community. Extended Major: Environmental Science and Ecology

Environmental Science assesses the impact of human activity on the global environment and develops scientific, risk-based solutions to help secure a sustainable future. Environmental scientists deal with issues such as climate change, rehabilitation and renaturation, habitat destruction or environmental impact assessment.

Bachelor of Science
