The reading section can come in two types:

1. Academic Section

CELPIP Reading Task 1: Tips

Following are the tips one can follow to ace the CELPIP Reading Task 1:

• Read English

As it's an English language proficiency test, reading English is one of the best ways to prepare for the exam. One can read English newspapers, magazines and novels. To make this process interesting, the students can start by reading what they like to read, such as fiction stories and romantic novels.

• Practice Test

Taking a practice test will make the students used to the exam, and they will learn how to attempt the questions. The students can take the free CELPIP reading test on the CELPIP main website.

• On-time

The students must ensure that they are good at time management to finish the exam on time. An excellent way to do this is that students must try to complete every question in less than one minute.

• Understanding is important

The students cannot remember the whole passage, so they must try to get the main crux of the comprehension. One thumb rule is to skim and scan and, if possible, understand the whole passage.

• Keep a check

This applies to both the situations when you are giving a sample test and the actual exam. During preparation, you will see in the study material there are answer keys at the end with the explanation. You can check the answers and see if they match your answers.

On the other hand, when you are giving the actual exam try to check the answers when you write because you won’t get extra time to check them later.

Question:

Dear Patient,
This letter serves as a confirmation of James' appointment at CELPIP TIP hospital. To allow time for you and your significant other to sign the consent forms necessary for your Treatment, please plan to arrive about 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Your significant other should be able to travel with you to your appointments as often as possible. Due to the nature of the care we offer, we might be unable to schedule or carry out specific procedures without their consent.

Please ask that your medical records be sent to our office before your appointment if you have seen a different doctor. We require that you bring your photo ID and insurance card to your first appointment in an effort to be HIPAA compliant and to protect your identity and personal health information.

We will submit your insurance claims on your behalf as a courtesy, but any co-payments must be paid at the time of service. All office visit fees and associated costs are due at the time of service for any patients who are not covered by insurance.

We at my office are grateful that you have chosen to receive your medical care from us.

Sincerely,
John William
