What is the name of your hometown?
Sample Answer | My hometown is Chandigarh. It is the capital of Punjab, located in the Northwestern part of the state. It is also known as ‘The City Beautiful’. |
Is your hometown a big or small town?
Sample Answer 1 | My hometown ‘Chandigarh’ is a medium-sized city. Therefore, it is easy for its residents to travel around. They can easily save a lot of time. |
Sample Answer 2 | My hometown ‘Chandigarh’ is not a metropolis, but it is not small either. However, it is not a crowded place. It is a clean and green city. It is also the capital city and one of the most modern cities in the northern region. |
How long have you been living in your hometown?
Sample Answer 1 | I have lived in Chandigarh for the last twenty years. It is indeed a long time to live in a city that I call home. My entire social circle is here. However, I want to work in a different city to broaden my horizons. |
Sample Answer 2 | I have lived in Chandigarh since my birth. I was born and completed my schooling there. |
Do you like your hometown? Why/Why not?
Sample Answer 1 | Yes, I like my hometown very much because it is one of the most modern places in the region. It also serves one of the best delicacies and has fabulous food among all the cities in the region. |
Sample Answer 2 | Yes, I like my hometown of Shimla. It is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, located in the Shivalik Hills. It is famous for its various tourist spots, especially Mall Road, and attracts tourists from around the world. |
Is there anything you dislike about your hometown?
Sample Answer 1 | I am from Delhi, the capital of India. The only thing I dislike about it is traffic jams, which occur regularly in the city. These traffic jams are quite annoying during rush hours. |
Sample Answer 2 | I love my city, but as they say, every rose has thorns. Similarly, there are certain things I dislike about my hometown. The public transport could be faster here, and I often get fed up with it. So, if only the public transport system could be improved, my hometown would be the best place to live. |
Which thing do you like the most about your hometown? Why?
Sample Answer 1 | My hometown is one of the greenest places in the region. It is home to many public parks I often visit with my friends to relax. |
Sample Answer 2 | I live in Delhi, the capital city of India. It is really known for its delicious food. The city is home to restaurants with cuisines from around the world, not only from India. |

Sample Answer 1 | Yes, I like living in Chandigarh. It is an eco-friendly city, and the environment is very pleasant there. |
Sample Answer 2 | Yes, I love living in my city. It is a very happening place. It is home to the region’s music industry, and you see a number of singers coming here for concerts. |

Sample Answer 1 | I belong to Delhi, the capital of India. It is one of the largest cities in the world and has a population of about 31 million. |
