International Foundation Diploma
The Foundation Diploma course is designed to prepare learners (students) for entry into a Diploma course. This exciting study journey introduces learners (students) to academic study skills and a business context, equipping them with essential skills that lay the groundwork for further study and future employment.
The course focuses on a broad range of skills beyond academic subjects. These include critical thinking, business communication and employability applications. Learners (students) learn to think independently, problem-solve, and express themselves effectively—skills that are valuable in any field.
Upon successful completion of the course, learners (students) may progress into ASCENSUS diploma courses, subject to meeting the entry requirements of the course.
Transfer to: Diploma in Salon Management
This course is designed for learners (students) with some knowledge of the services industry but little or no experience in hairdressing. It enables learners (students) to develop the skills and knowledge required for occupational competence in salon management. Additionally, the course aims to impart competency in providing services such as hair and scalp analysis, basic hair colouring and lightening.
Upon successfully completion of the course, learners (students) may enter the hairdressing industry as a management trainee, hair and scalp therapist, or hair colourist.
