 IELTS test centres in India follow a consistent set of rules and regulations which should be adhered to before taking the test.

• Candidates must bring their original passport or a national ID, including a passport number, a signature, a date of birth, and a photograph.
• Applicants may bring their national ID or passport. IELTS exam centres in India will supply a pen or pencil and an eraser.
• Students taking the test should leave their phones or other electronic devices outside the room at the IELTS test locations and turn them off.
• Any problems with the computer or any other discrepancy faced should be reported immediately to the test supervisor at the IELTS centre.
• No eatables or drinks are permitted inside the test room.
• Test takers are not permitted to remove any material used during the exam at the IELTS test centre.
