The IELTS speaking section is divided into three parts, introduction, cue card and follow-up questions. In cue cards, candidates will be provided with a topic. They will get 1 minute to think about the topic and 2 minutes to speak for the same. Introduction | From childhood, I was used to reading newspapers with my father. I love to read informative articles on different topics, such as sports, technology and daily life. |
What was the article? | The title of the article was 20 Tips to boost your mental health. The article was nicely written by one of the senior content writers of a media house. |
When and where did you read it? | I read it last week on Sunday in one of the newspapers. Although the article was long, it was so engaging I read it completely. |
What did you learn from the article? | The article was very informative, so I kept myself mentally strong in order to follow the tips mentioned. Some tips I remember from the article are to stay active, talk to someone and eat a diet that keeps your brain active. |
Why do you think it is a good or bad article? | I really liked the article because all the tips mentioned were easy for anybody to follow without investing much time and money. |

When and where did you read it? | I read it last month when I was searching for running shoes. Then, between the ads, I found this article. As I was searching for shoes, I thought of reading it. It was so well-written that I completed reading it. |
What did you learn from the article? | I learned various tips from the article to improve slow running, such as relaxing your body, practicing mindful running and running with a buddy. I found it very helpful and shared it with my friends. |
Why do you think it is a good or bad article? | Undoubtedly, the article was one of the best pieces of content I have ever read. After following the tips, I could improve my slow running routine. After a month, my stamina was boosted like never before. |

When and where did you read it? | Last month I went to live at my best friend’s home for a few days as his parents were out of the station. Then he noticed that I sleep very late at night and suggested this article to me. I read it on one of the fitness-based websites. |
What did you learn from the article? | I learned various things from the article, such as sticking to a sleep schedule, paying attention to what one eats and drinks and limiting daytime naps. |
Why do you think it is a good or bad article? | I liked the article because it improved my sleep quality. I felt more energetic after following the tips mentioned for one week. |
